Rishi Sunak against Putin at the king's court in Buckingham!


 According to tradition, Rishi Sunak appeared at the court of King Charles III of Britain and took the appointment letter for the post of Prime Minister.  Rishi, the new Prime Minister elected by members of parliament of the ruling Conservative Party, met the King in London on Tuesday.  After that, he gave a short speech to the party in front of the Prime Minister's office and residence, 10 Downing Street.

In the speech, Rishi said, "I will take the country above politics.  Britain is facing a financial crisis in the post-Covid situation.  Our primary goal is to get rid of it.'' Also, citing the Ukraine war, Rishi complained that Russian President Vladimir Putin has destabilized the world economy after the pandemic.


  • What's next?

Rishi visited Buckingham Palace on Tuesday after being invited by King Charles to form a new government in Britain.  There he was greeted and taken inside by Lieutenant Colonel Johnny Thompson, head of the Royal Guards.  Several names emerged in the running for 10 Downing Street following the resignation of Liz Truss as Prime Minister.  In the end, the Indian-origin sage was elected without a vote as other contenders, including former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, dropped out.
