Why will the Uber group pay fine?

The incident of June 12, 2018. Mumbai-based lawyer Kavita Sharma was fighting a legal battle for the past four years. It is known that on June 12, 2018, at 5:50 pm, Kavitadevi had booked a flight ticket to Chennai. He booked the app cab at 3:29 PM to reach the airport. Got an Uber cab 14 minutes late after calling multiple times. The lawyer alleged that the cab driver was busy on the phone. After leaving for the airport, the driver took the wrong road. Abe also entered a pump to fill CNG gas in his car. As a result there is another 15-20 minutes delay. The cab arrived at the airport at 5:23 pm. By that time, the final call to board the plane was made. As a result, Kavitadevi had to book the ticket for the next flight.
Meanwhile, when booking the cab, the fare was shown to Kavitadevi as 563 rupees. But after reaching the airport, the driver has to pay 703 rupees. The Mumbai lawyer got an additional 139 rupees back when he complained about the whole matter. But whet about the airplane tickets cost? Who will pay for the next plane ticket? She then sent a legal notice to Uber, the app cab company. Kavitadevi approached Thana's Consumer Protection Court after not getting any response.

Lawyer Kavita Sharma won the four-year legal battle. The court ordered the App Cab company to pay a fine of 20,000. 10,000 for mentally harassing the woman and another 10,000 for legal expenses.
